The hours are the same; the minutes are the same as well.
The name of the days will change as will the date but what makes this day different than another?
Is it what we do or what we say?
Or is it how the day leaves us when it is through.
This day may mean nothing to you, no more remarkable than the ones before it.
For me, this day will always find me changed.
This day will remind me of how I did everything perfectly, and despite all that, still failed.
This day taught me how to dream, and how to have hope.
How to believe in something even if, no, especially if, it looks impossible.
This day taught me how to smile and how to cry.
This day taught me how to make plans and how to stare blindly into the future, and wonder what I do next.
This day will always in all ways be the start of a journey, one that never ends,
One that never started.
